MitCorp Industrial Borescopes

Since starting in 2003 Mitcorp has built a business based on the production of industrial boroscopes, with the videoscope being used by Audi, Skoda, Volvo, Tato, Toyota and Volkswagen.

With an ever-increasing customer base Mitcorp products have been recognized for their excellence as winners of several awards and their models are celebrated as leaders in the field of videoscope diagnostics in terms of both performance and quality.

Videoscopes from Mitcorp are used in a wide range of applications in industries such as Petrochemical, Aerospace, Automotive, Power Generation and Quality Management.

MX500/MX1000

Videoscopes in the MX series are operated via a user-friendly touch screen, built to meet standard IP55, that can be used in bright light conditions.

The narrow 3.9 mm tube of the videoscope can be used for quality and critical inspections and with either a 360° articulation or a 4.5 mm two way articulated probe. The white balance can be enhanced, image quality can be changed, negative mode can be switched on to highlight cracks or other fine details, or dual mode can be used (to view both front and side views using another lens) through the systems playback software.

X-1000 Plus

The X1000 Plus is an advanced version of the celebrated X1000 with an enhanced, touch-screen user display on a 7” TFT LCD screen. The system can work under different lighting conditions with 11 different lighting levels – 5 of these are for standard lighting conditions with the remaining 6 advanced levels at longer exposures for work in very dark conditions.

The ability to take video footage of an inspection is easy and straightforward.  Notes can be added to imagery and features such as “negative” and simultaneous side and front views allow for users to gain even greater details during the inspection process.

The X-1000 Plus can be used with a 360° articulation or a 4.5 mm two-way articulated probe.

PRM100 Pipe Inspection Camera

The X-1000 Plus can be used alongside the PRM 100 Pipe inspection camera, designed for the inspection of heat exchangers with a probe of 10 mm diameter. The camera can be mounted on a pipe of either 15 m or 25 m length for use in a wide variety of inspections.

The light adjustment and exposure features of the X-1000 used alongside this camera are a strong combination for the visual inspection and image recording of piping.
