Quaternary Pumps with Higher Flow Rates in Single-Use Applications

Single-use pumps from Quattroflow have a disposable product-wetted chamber made of solid polypropylene (PP) that can be replaced as a whole unit. As the pump chamber can be easily disposed, sterilization, cleaning validation, and product cross-contamination are eliminated, thus saving time and money.

In the development of biosimilar processes, single-use pumps are crucial to decrease the turnaround times of the equipment. Usually, the typical field of application of the single-use pumps is multi-product facilities (for example, contract manufacturing, production of clinical reference samples, process development).

Single-Use Quaternary Diaphragm Pumps

The Quattroflow Single-Use pumps are self-priming and can be operated dry. The pump chamber has no rotating parts that experience friction which might lead to product degradation/modification and/or particle generation due to heat generation. It is possible to replace and prepare a single-use pump chamber for a new batch in just a few minutes. An exchange kit is readily available to upgrade a Multi-Use pump into a Single-Use pump.
