Electrical Heating Jacket for the Study of Samples by Transmission Spectroscopy

Specac’s Electrical Heating Jacket is used for analyzing samples through transmission spectroscopy over temperatures ranging from ambient to 250 °C.

The heating jacket can be used with Specac’s High-Pressure Liquid Cell, Spectroelectrochemical Cell, or Advanced Solid or Liquid Transmission Cells. The 3″ x 2″ slide mounting plate allows the cell holder to be fitted into an optical spectrometer sample compartment.

Since an appropriate sample cell is required to use this accessory, the temperature range of the transmission cell must be considered when using this.

Water Heating Jacket

Specac offers a Water Heating Jacket for studying solid and liquid samples through transmission spectroscopy over temperatures ranging from ambient to 90 °C, when used along with a water recirculator.

The Water Heating Jacket can be used with Specac’s High-Pressure Liquid Cell, Spectroelectrochemical Cell, or Advanced Solid or Liquid Transmission Cells. The 3″ x 2″ slide mounting plate allows the cell holder to be fitted into an optical spectrometer sample compartment.

Note: This accessory also needs a suitable sample cell, and the temperature range of this transmission cell should be considered when using this.
